Status: Floodwaters - INTERVENTION MODE
Due to the heavy precipitation forecasts in the Montreal area on Friday and Saturday, the Village of Senneville is now in intervention mode.


For properties near Lac des Deux-Montagnes, the risk of flooding is very high. As precautionary measures, we recommend that citizens raise all items in their basement and perhaps even to acquire pumps.


We invite citizens to remain vigilant and to be prepared to take action. In case of an emergency, we invite you to contact 514 630-1234 or 9-11.

Pierrefonds’ filtration plant (Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough) supplies the Village of Senneville with drinking water. The City of Montreal’s Water Service assures us that drinking water is of good quality and fit for consumption.

Preparing and protecting yourself against floods:

  • Stay informed of the situation.
  • Follow emergency workers' directions.
  • Leave your home if water levels become too high or if the authorities ask you to do so.
  • Bring your survival kit, warm clothing, rain gear and identification for all occupants of your home.
  • Avoid moving vehicles in flooded areas.
  • Be careful when using gas or propane pumps.


NOTICE: Temporary closure of the chemin de l'Anse-à-l'Orme additionally the intersection chemin de Senneville and Gouin boulevard in both directions for an undetermined period due to flooding.
