Household Hazardous Waste

Hazardous waste is used oils, used oil filters, paints, aerosols, removers, glue, solvents, cleaning products, insecticides, chemical products, batteries, propane tanks, acids, and other hazardous waste.

The City of Montreal organizes a special drop off collection that takes place once a year in various neighboring locations as indicated on the collection schedule calendar. You must bring your hazardous products at the location on the day and hour specified on that calendar found below.

Also, Senneville residents can bring the following hazardous products at these specific locations:

TOWN HALL:  We accept ink cartridges, cell phones as well as batteries in the specified containers found in the reception area that are accessible Monday through Thrusday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 12:45 pm to 4:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

MUNICIPAL GARAGE:  We accept paints, used oil, aerosols, acids, solvents, removers, cleaning products, glue and pesticides.
