Safety service and Emergency respondants

The ''Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal (SIM)'' has the responsibility to serve the entire territory of the Village of Senneville.  Its mission is fighting fires and rescuing in such situations.

As part of its mission, the SIM is to assess any risks associated to fires and other disasters, overseeing disaster prevention, organizing rescue missions and investigating the point of origin, the circumstances and probable causes of a fire.

It is also responsible for fighting against other types of disasters, rescuing accident victims and helping people affected by disaster and emergency relief.

Knowing we can count on an intervention brigade at all times,  one must keep in mind that security is also a matter of prevention ... that concerns us all!

Smoke detectors

We cannot emphasize enough: a smoke alarm in good condition can make the difference between life and death. In fact, this smoke detector is watching over you and your family 24/7.

Any building owner must install a sufficient number of smoke alarms and, most importantly maintain them in functional order at all times.
