MIGRATORY BIRDS

Your property may be located within the Senneville Migratory Bird Sanctuary, identified in the federal Migratory Bird Convention Act of 1994 and its Migratory Bird Sanctuary Regulations.
If you plan to do any work on your property, it must be done without disturbing, injuring or destroying migratory birds and their nests. The nesting season is generally from mid-April to the end of August, however, activities outside of the nesting season could still result in a violation of the regulation.

The federal regulation also prohibits the free movement of dogs and cats in a Migratory Bird Sanctuary at any time.

The municipality wishes to remind you that it is the responsibility of all owners to ensure that they respect the federal regulation on migratory bird sanctuaries.
