Notice of low-level helicopter overflight - Inventory of white-tailed deers

At the request of Transport Canada, the City of Montreal's Service des grands parcs, du Mont-Royal et des sports will conduct a low-level helicopter inventory of white-tailed deer in the Bois-de-l'Île-Bizard, Cap-St-Jacques, Anse-à-l'Orme and Bois-de-la-Roche agricultural park areas. It also includes the territories of the Île-Bizard humanized landscape, the Morgan arboretum and Angell Woods.

The operations will take place around February 21 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. (tentative date).

This project is a collaboration with the Ministère de l'Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP). The Ministry is in charge of the planification and execution of the inventory (deer count) and is seeing to it that all required authorizations to effect this operation on Montreal territory are obtained from Transport Canada
